Natural treatments to cure ovarian cysts effectively
What are ovarian cysts?
The two ovaries existing in a woman's body constitute a chain of reproduction. These are located in the pelvis, an ovary on either side of the uterus. Each ovary is the size and shape of an almond. The ovaries produce eggs (ova) and female hormones that control the development of characteristic features of women (breasts, body shape, menstrual cycle and pregnancy). Ovarian cysts are closed structures, which are not a normal part of the tissue that "hosts" them. These cysts contain a liquid, gas or semi-solid substance. Cysts are common and can occur anywhere in the body in people of any age. In women, ovarian cysts are specific. they vary in size and can only be detected using a microscope, but they can grow so much that they can disrupt normal organs and tissues.

Ovarian cysts are of several types:
The most common is the follicular cyst which results from the growth of a follicle. Normally, a follicle is a fluid-filled sac that contains an egg. The follicular cyst is formed when the follicle becomes very large and does not open (during the menstrual cycle) to release the egg (the egg). Cysts may contain blood (hemorrhagic cysts).
Another type of ovarian cyst, also related to the menstrual cycle, is a corpus luteum cyst. The corpus luteum is tissue in the ovary that appears after an egg is released from the follicle. If there is no pregnancy, the corpus luteum breaks down and disappears normally. However, there are cases when this tissue is filled with fluid or blood and remains as a cyst on the ovary. Usually, this cyst is on one side and does not produce any symptoms.
Sometimes the ovarian tissue grows abnormally and turns into cysts called benign cystic teratomas or dermoid cysts.
The endometriosis is a condition that occurs when cells that normally exist in the uterus grow outside the uterus. When endometriosis involves an ovary, a brown cystic area forms, also called a chocolate cyst or endometrioma.
Ovarian tumors can contain cysts.
Polycystic ovary syndrome is characterized by the presence of several cysts in both ovaries. This syndrome is associated with a number of hormonal problems and is the most common cause of infertility in women.
Infections of the pelvic organs can also affect the ovaries or the fallopian tubes. In severe cases, cysts full of pus may appear around the ovary. These are known as tube-ovarian abscess.
What Are the Causes of Ovarian Cysts?
- Irregular menstrual cycles
- Hormonal imbalance
- Hypothyroidism
- Smoking
- Early menstruation (under 11)
- High fat in the upper body
- Certain drugs and contraceptives
Ovarian cysts are, in many cases, harmless and without symptoms. They go away on their own without treatment. If these cysts are enlarged, they can produce symptoms such as frequent urination, abdominal pain, changes in the menstrual cycle, fattening and infertility. See your doctor promptly if you have the following symptoms: severe pain in the pelvic area, nausea, vomiting, fainting, dizziness, or vaginal bleeding.
Natural treatments for ovarian cysts
The Plant Encyclopedia recommends certain herbs that treat ovarian cysts and other abnormal uterine growths:
-Agnus castus or Vitex has been used for centuries as a female hormone modulator. It is recommended in the treatment of cysts, symptoms of menopause and other problems related to hormonal imbalance. It has the ability to stimulate the secretion of luteinizing hormone, which plays an important role in the secretion of progesterone by the ovary. It also reduces the secretion of follicle-stimulating hormone. Specifically, cysts can be caused by too much estrogen and Vitex balances estrogen levels and thus prevents cyst formation;
-Armory is good for detoxification. Also called milk thistle, armor is one of the best herbs for liver health. Healthy liver is vital for hormonal balance. The liver helps filter toxins from the body, including removing excess hormones;
-Red clover has estrogen-like effects. This is why it is very often used to treat hormonal imbalances;
-Black Cohosh (Cimicifuga racemosa) is used by Ayurvedic practitioners in combination with red clover and other herbs to help boost balance hormones. This herb helps restore the irregular menstrual cycle, which could cause ovarian cysts. Black cohosh is also used successfully in the treatment of female hormonal imbalances. Black cohosh is excellent for relieving ovarian pain;
-Dandelion is a diuretic, which could help cleanse the liver. In turn, this could help the body remove excess hormones that can cause cysts.
-Pollen strengthens and vitamins the body. Bee pollen is another Ayurvedic remedy used to maintain the reproductive health of women. This protects the ovaries against the formation of cysts.
-The Maca is a fertility herb that helps the body produce progesterone and restores hormonal balance without containing hormones. Maca also helps natural progesterone work better by nourishing the endocrine system. The recommended daily dose of Maca root is 2,000 to 3,000 mg;
-Dong Quai - root - (Angelica sinensis) helps in fertility. This plant ensures good circulation of the reproductive organs and reduces the pain associated with these organs;
-Tribulus - aerial parts and fruits - (Tribulus Terrestris) can be used in the process of ovulation when used before the fertile period. Did a study of 36 women who didn't ovulate show this? 67% had normal ovulation after just 2-3 months of constant use. Additionally, Tribulus has been shown to be a stimulating tonic for the female reproductive system, especially the ovaries.
-Wild yam it is good for maintaining hormonal balance. It contains chemicals that mimic or can be turned into hormones such as estrogen.
Sellers of medicinal plants recommend, for the treatment of cysts, the therapy of Bach flowers with nut flowers, house spores, red chestnut, oats, honeysuckle and cloves. They prevent or, as the case may be, dissolve ovarian cysts.
These remedies are found in natural product stores, in the form of teas, capsules, tinctures or other preparations. Follow the manufacturer's recommendations for treatment.
Dietary changes also help prevent and eliminate ovarian cysts. Some research done in Italy suggests that women who eat more meat and dairy products, especially fat, can produce ovarian cysts faster and more often than those who eat a diet high in vegetables, fruits, liquids, grains. integers. In the case of ovarian cysts, regular consumption of garlic helps to eliminate them and prevents new cysts from forming. Try to eat less candy and white flour products.
Besides herbs and dietary changes, vitamin and mineral supplements are very important. In the case of ovarian cysts, it is important to consume vitamin E, magnesium, vitamin B and flaxseed oil, which are very rich in vitamins. They balance the level of female hormones.
Natural treatments for ovarian cysts work over time. Don't expect immediate results. It is important that these natural treatments for ovarian cysts help the body to heal and regain its balance. Do not forget about the medications prescribed by the doctor. The specialist decides whether natural treatments for ovarian cysts are sufficient or whether you need medication or other procedures.

HERE ARE 8 RECOMMENDED HERBAL MEDICINES YOU CAN ADD TO YOUR DAILY DIET TO HELP YOU IN YOUR FIGHT AGAINST BREAST CANCER
Garlic
Garlic which has the Latin name Allium sativum is often used to treat many diseases. Regarding its potential for treating breast cancer, garlic contains a substance called ajoene which is known to temporarily inhibit the growth of cancer cells.
In addition, garlic also contains antioxidant compounds such as bioflavonoids, cyanidin, and quercetin which are known to be able to ward off free radicals in the body. One of the negative effects of the freeze buildup itself is a genetic mutation that can lead to cancer.
The high amount of organic sulfides and polysulfides in garlic is also thought to increase its potential as an anti-cancer herbal medicine.
Turmeric
Turmeric whose Latin name is Curcuma longa is one of the herbal medicines that can be consumed during breast cancer treatment.
The rhizome and rootstock of turmeric are especially rich in curcumin, an active ingredient that is strongly suspected to be anticancer due to its phenolic properties.
In addition, curcumin converts eicosanoid compounds such as prostaglandin E-2 (PGE-2) in the body into antioxidant compounds and anti-inflammatory substances.
Curcumin is known to be able to inhibit cancer growth phases from initial formation to division.
Green tea
Green tea leaves, also known as Camellia sinensis, are rich in polyphenols. The polyphenols in green tea are epigallocatechin (EGGG), which is anti-tumor and anti-mutagenic.
A study shows the fact that polyphenols in green tea can limit cancer cell division and trigger cell damage. Even so, this research is still limited to experimental animals.
Green tea also contains other antioxidant compounds called catechins. Catechins inhibit the spread and division of tumor cells. In other words, catechins can reduce the risk of developing tumors in other areas of the body besides the breast.
Green tea can also reduce the harmful effects of radiation. All of these benefits are obtained from the antioxidant compounds contained in green tea. However, further research is needed specifically to see the benefits of green tea for breast cancer treatment.
Ginseng
Ginseng is one of the well-known herbal medicines to relieve various health problems, including breast cancer. Plants that are widely grown in China, Korea and Japan have active substances that can help inhibit the spread and division of cancer cells.
An investigation conducted in Korea recommended ginseng to reduce the risk of cancer in humans. It is the dry extracts and powders of ginseng roots that usually have the strongest ingredients to help fight cancer.
By interfering with DNA formation, ginseng will inhibit tumor cells that are supposed to grow. Apart from that, its active compounds also help increase antibodies and cells damaged during chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
However, of course, further research is still needed to prove its effectiveness.
Flax seed
Flax seed or flaxseed may not sound familiar to your ears, but the potential benefits are beneficial for people with cancer. Flaxseeds are rich in fiber, omega 3 fatty acids and lignans which have antioxidant properties.
A group of researchers at Toronto University showed that flaxseed also has strong anticancer properties. Experimental results show that flaxseed helps reduce tumor malignancy. Even so, this study is based on experiments conducted on mice.
Other existing research has also been carried out on lab mice by injecting breast cancer cells into their bodies. When the cancer spread, one group of mice was fed with flaxseed while the other group was fed another.
The results showed the cancer growth rate in mice that ate flaxseed was reduced by 45 percent.
Leaves of the elephant's trunk
The leaves of the elephant's trunk which have the scientific name Clinacanthus nutans contain many antioxidants such as flavonoids, triterpenoids, and phenolic acids. Antioxidants are one of the compounds that can ward off free radicals in the body as one of the causes of cancer.
Research published in the journal Evidence-Based Complementary And Alternative Medicine proves the anticancer effects of this herbal medicine may be used for breast cancer. The leaves of the elephant's trunk are thought to be useful to help overcome adenocarcinoma and carcinoma cells in the breast.
Carcinoma is a type of cancer cell that starts in the epithelial tissue. While adenocarcinoma is a cancer cell that appears in the cells of organs that produce fluid including the breast.
However, of course you cannot treat breast cancer by simply drinking the leaves of an elephant's trunk. Further research is still needed to prove its effectiveness.
Soursop leaves
Soursop fruit is not only delicious. It turns out that soursop leaves can also be used as an herbal medicine for breast cancer.
Reporting from research published in Oxidative Medicine and Cellular Longevity, soursop leaves have compounds to reduce cancer growth. The acetogenin and alkaloid compounds in soursop leaves are thought to help reduce cancer growth.
This is confirmed by a case report experienced by a 66-year-old woman with metastatic breast cancer. The cancer cells in her breasts are reported to continue to spread to other parts of the body despite chemotherapy with anthracyclines and taxane.
However, it is said that this woman is diligent in boiling 10 to 12 dried soursop leaves for 5 to 7 minutes. The boiled water is then drunk every day.
When next examined, doctors found the spread of cancer remained stable for 5 years. This means that cancer cells no longer spread too widely or are reduced.
Even so, you cannot replace the main breast cancer treatment from a doctor with this one herbal medicine. Still needed further research in humans to prove its usefulness.
Rat taro leaves
Rat taro leaves which have another name Typhonium flagelliforme, including herbs that are also strongly suspected to treat breast cancer. A study conducted by researchers in Malaysia tested the effects of cytotoxicity or the level of damage to a substance in cells in rat taro leaves.
The test results found evidence that soursop leaf extract could help inhibit the growth of MDA-MB-231 cells in breast cancer. However, although it can be inhibited, its effectiveness for healing is not known with certainty.
Research on rat taro leaves for the treatment of breast cancer has so far been carried out in animals. So, the benefits for humans cannot be proven with certainty.

RISK FACTORS OF EARLY MENOPAUSE
According to Healthline the following have been proved as factors that leads to early menopause:
SURGERY
Women who have some surgeries are at a higher risk for early menopause. This includes women who have one ovary removed or a removal of the uterus (hysterectomy). These surgeries can cause a reduced amount of estrogen and progesterone in the body. Early menopause can also develop as a side effect among women who have cervical cancer surgery or pelvic surgery. The removal of both ovaries causes immediate menopause.
CHEMOTHERAPY
Chemotherapy and radiation greatly increase the risk of premature menopause. According to the Mayo Clinic, radiotherapy can damage ovarian tissues. This can lead to the early onset of menopause.
AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE
Premature menopause can be a symptom of an autoimmune disease. An autoimmune disease occurs when the immune system attacks a part of the body because it mistakes it for a harmful substance. Certain autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis can cause the immune system to attack the ovaries and ovarian tissues. This can lead to premature menopause.
EPILEPSY
A study in Epilepsy suggested that women with epilepsy have a higher risk of developing early menopause.
SMOKING
According to the Mayo Clinic, women who smoke experience menopause one to two years earlier than women who don’t smoke. Hence, it is advisable for women to stop smoking.
THYROID DISEASE
Thyroid disorders can cause premature menopause due to hormone levels that are either too high or too low.
While thyroid diseases can cause early menopause, some symptoms of hypothyroidism are similar to menopause symptoms. These include:
- lack of menstruation
- mood swings
- hot flashes
- insomnia
Treating the thyroid condition can alleviate symptoms. It can also prevent the onset of early menopause.
HERE ARE 10 HOME REMEDIES FOR YOUR MENOPAUSE SYMPTOMS
Many women have been able to reduce the symptoms and suffering from menstruation by making some changes in their diet, lifestyle and using home remedies. Here are some effective home remedies:
The power of soy
Soy products such as soy cheese can help you during menopause. Studies have shown that soy products contain significant amounts of phytoestrogens called isoflavones, which can help maintain cardiovascular and bone health. These compounds, along with their estrogen-like properties, can go a long way in reducing menopausal symptoms in the pre- and post-menopausal period.
Mulberry plant
The mulberry plant is an amazing plant that has been the subject of many botanical studies and may be helpful during menopause. This plant has been shown to be effective in treating a range of gynecological diseases such as menstrual problems including premenstrual syndrome and painful menstruation. Berries are a rich source of many health compounds such as flavonoids, triterpene glycosides and aromatic acids that have positive effects on serotonin receptors. The estrogenic effect of mulberry may also be effective in relieving hot flashes and improving mood. Apart from this, consumption of mulberry plant can be useful for women suffering from breast cancer to relieve vascular problems and hot flashes.
Rhubarb or herb flower
Rhubarb is another plant that has been shown to be beneficial for menopausal symptoms in several studies. This plant has an antidepressant effect and prevents hot flashes, sleep disorders and mood swings associated with menopause. Remember that Rhubarb has antidepressant properties and should not be taken with other antidepressants. In addition, the plant may interact with drugs such as warfarin and digoxin.
Ginkgo biloba
Ginkgo biloba has been studied in several studies and has been shown to be effective in treating memory problems that occur in the postmenopausal period. The point to be warned here is that ginkgo may interfere with anticoagulants and reduce blood clotting time in women taking these drugs.
Red clover
Red clover is also one of the herbal and home remedies for menopausal symptoms. Studies have shown that isoflavones in red clover help lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels and have positive effects on vaginal cells. This plant also helps reduce other menopausal symptoms.
Ginseng
Red ginseng is an effective analgesic for menopausal symptoms. Research studies have shown that consuming this plant reduces LDL or bad cholesterol. This protective effect maintains cardiovascular health in postmenopausal women.
Enough sleep
Adequate sleep is an essential part of menopause that helps calm the body and mind. Sleep also has a restorative and strengthening effect on the body as well as a balanced diet and regular exercise, and helps the body's immune system to rebuild itself. Inadequate sleep makes the body vulnerable to underlying diseases such as memory problems and insulin resistance, and paves the way for diabetes. Sleeping in a dark room stimulates the production of melatonin, a hormone needed for good sleep. Other ways, such as using natural daylight, drinking warm milk, taking a hot shower, and brisk walking, can help you sleep better.
Kava
Kava extract and derivatives are also one of the effective plants in treating menopausal symptoms. One study found that taking kava extract in combination with hormone therapy can help reduce and alleviate menopausal anxiety problems. Kava extract may interact with anti-anxiety drugs and is best used for short-term treatments. Consumption of kava is either banned or allowed under certain conditions in many countries. Consult your doctor before use.
Evening Primrose Oil
A general tonic for women's reproductive health, evening primrose has a cooling effect on the skin and regulates the production of estrogen. It can act as a sleep aid due to its high gamma-linolenic acid count and increased prostaglandin production.
Chickweed Tincture
Daily servings of this herb have been reported to lower both the number and severity of hot flashes.
Other Tips For Relieving Hot Flashes
Besides from the list of natural remedies above, you can also practice these natural lifestyle tips to help get relief from hot flashes.
Avoid Synthetic Bedding and Clothing
Synthetic bedding and clothing can contribute to overheating the body, especially while sleeping. Unlike natural cotton and linen, synthetic fibers cause us to perspire more often at night, a time when women most-often experience overheating. If you wear tight-fitting clothing made from synthetic fibers, such as turtlenecks, this can also aggravate hot flashes.
Stay Cool
Avoid long periods in direct sunlight. Reduce the use of hot tubs, saunas, and even hot showers. Drink cool water with cucumber and stay in well-ventilated, cool areas of your home. Small room fans can help provide temporary relief for hot flashes.
Stop Smoking
Smoking has been linked to increased occurrence of hot flashes in menopausal women.
Take Time to Unwind
Many women report an increase occurrence of hot flashes during times of stress. Make sure to make time for yoga, breathing exercises, visualization, massage, acupuncture, chiropractic, biofeedback techniques, meditation or other forms of stress relief during the day. This will help ease heat in your body and mind.
Avoid Trigger Substances
Alcohol, fried foods, spicy foods, caffeine, diet pills, and very hot (temperature-wise) foods can create increased acid and heat in the body. It is best to avoid these substances, especially foods that cause acid reflux.
Exercise Regularly
Engaging in daily exercise keeps you in shape and feeling young and healthy. Without a healthy body, it is harder to balance the necessary hormones to prevent hot flashes. Try going for more walks throughout the day. Simple cardio exercise is one of the easiest things you can do to improve your health. Weight training is also helpful.

NATURAL REMEDIES TO TREAT OVARIAN CYSTS
The ovarian cysts are sacs or fluid-filled sacs that develop in or on the surface of one or both ovaries of a woman. Most women will develop at least one cyst at some point in their life.
Most ovarian cysts are considered functional, which means that they usually occur during the menstrual cycle and are not part of a disease process.
They are usually benign and for no apparent reason. Pathological cysts, on the other hand, can be either benign or cancerous.
Often times, people are unaware of ovarian cysts because they usually don't cause problems. However, in some cases, they can cause symptoms like abdominal bloating, pain during bowel movements, menstrual irregularities, pelvic pain before or during the menstrual cycle, pain during sex, pain in the lower back or thighs, pressure in the rectum or bladder, nausea, and vomiting. Certain types of ovarian cysts can also cause reduced fertility.
In many cases, ovarian cysts go away on their own within a few months. However, if they are causing discomfort, there is a natural herbal treatment to cure it. Click on the image below to discover this natural treatment.
Here are the best home remedies for ovarian cysts:

Note: do not use castor oil packs during menstruation. If you are trying to conceive then do not use this remedy after ovulation.

- Mix half a cup of freshly extracted beet juice with a tablespoon of aloe vera gel and honey.
- Drink this juice once a day before eating your breakfast.
- Follow this method daily until your symptoms have subsided.

A NATURAL SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM OF OVARIAN CYSTS
THE STORY OF FRANCOISE
Francoise wrote me a beautiful letter. In it, she described how she managed to naturally get rid of the disease that many women face today (and at an increasingly younger age): ovarian cysts.
The subject is particularly dear to me because I myself went through it years ago: I lost my right ovary during an urgent (life-saving) operation. And as you know, these organs are neither hair nor nails and unfortunately, they do not grow back.
If I knew what I know today (i.e. my body does not make these cysts to make me angry, but I need them, for example as a storage site for toxins that 'he cannot eliminate), then this mutilation would never have happened.
Today, we live in an environment saturated with endocrine disruptors (substances with effects similar to estrogen ). They are found in foods (especially meat from farm animals), water, cosmetics, and conventional medicines.
Our delicate hormonal balance is affected by an amount of stress (emotional and physical) unprecedented in human history.
Under such conditions, the hormonal imbalance and associated symptoms can easily be disturbed.
Cysts are just one of them.
I think Francoise's letter and her story can certainly help many women. Before I tell you her story, let me tell you about the best African cure for ovarian cysts.
This natural remedy is made up of the best herbal remedies for treating ovarian cysts. He will heal you and you will avoid the operation. Herbal tea is made up of several herbs that regulate hormone levels and the size of your cysts. It will help you relieve the pain of the menstrual cycle and regularize your cycle. The herbal tea will also expel waste from your uterus. Usually, except when the diagnosis is too late, our natural treatment will cure ovarian cysts without side effects.

Here is its path to ovarian cysts:
Hello Afriquesanté
I would like to share with you, as well as other women, my experience I had regarding an ovarian cyst diagnosed during a standard pelvic exam.
During the ultrasound, the gynecologist said I had a cyst on my ovary, measuring almost 6 cm by 4 cm. The doctor said the cyst had solid septa and unfortunately had no chance of absorbing itself.
I was recommended to perform CA 125 tumor markers - (unfortunately they went above normal). I did the ultrasound again after 2 weeks and then was referred to the hospital.
The ultrasound was again performed in the hospital, which confirmed the previous diagnoses. I was due for surgery - in 3 months. It has been three very hard months in my life.
At first, when I heard that I had to go to the hospital, various emotions started to boil in me. I felt sadness, fear, helplessness, regret. I was in the hospital as a patient only once, it was during the birth of my daughter.
I allowed myself to be with these feelings, I didn't try to suppress them or drown them. I really cry. It was the time I needed to feel awkward and complain a little.
It didn't last long, it was time to think about it soon. I started to calm down, and to listen to myself a lot. What did this disease mean to me , and maybe even scream at me?
I started to listen to my body. I didn't want to be passive, nod my head softly and not ask the doctor questions. Until now, unfortunately, this was so. Now I have decided to change it. Not just that. I decided to take care of myself, to take care of myself.
My treatment was as follows:
Achillea millefolium
- I prepared a pitcher of yarrow every day , I drank the potion and I even liked his taste. Because the three month waiting period for the procedure was between November and January, so I felt very motivated with such tea. In his writings, Father Kneipp said: "Women would have avoided a lot of suffering if they had used yarrow from time to time".
- Every day (except the days when I had my period), I took an herbal bath . I used yarrow, thyme and horsetail herbs for the bath. I prepared the infusion as follows: the day before the bath in a 5-liter saucepan, I soaked the herbs (50 g bag), flooded them with cold water (they should stay for several hours) . The next day, before bathing, I boiled it, but only by bringing it to a boil, then passed through a sieve and poured the infusion into the tub. The bath lasted at least half an hour.
Since I decided that yarrow should be the dominant herb in my treatment, I used the following bathing regimen: Day 1 Yarrow, Day 2 Thyme, Day 3 Yarrow, Day 4 Horsetail and I repeated the entire cycle from the start.
- During the week, for three days, I made a castor oil compress . I chose Friday, Saturday and Sunday because this compress needs to be kept for about an hour and a half, so you need to save time. Then I took a four day break. Wraps should not be used during menstruation. I prepared the packaging so that I pour castor oil on a flannel cloth folded in three, put it on my stomach, where the ovary was, cover it all with a plastic bag, a towel and I put a hot water bottle on it.
- The moment I took a bath, and also when I was lying in bed with a hot water bottle, it was a moment of listening. It was a moment of deep relaxation .
- I completely removed dairy from the diet . I do not eat meat , but I believe that for people who eat meat, it is advisable to reduce its consumption considerably. This is mainly to remove hormones and antibiotics given to animals present in meat and dairy products.
- I felt great physically, so I was giving myself the right amount of not very intense movement every day .
- Daily prayer was extremely important to me . For non-believers this can be, for example, meditation. It is about finding the right form which relates to the spiritual part and which will bring relief, calm and well being. The stress must go away .
The transaction date has been set for January 31. I had a packed bag containing, among other things, a new bathrobe, nightgown and the rest of the items on the list, which I received with the reference for the surgery.
I did all the recommended exams, went to an anesthesiologist. I bought a few pieces of jelly because for two days before going to the hospital there was a strict diet and I could only eat jelly, soup, and drink water.
In the hospital where the intervention was to be carried out, it is customary that two days before coming to the hospital, there is a meeting of the patient with the head doctor. At 7:00 am, I made an appointment.
First the head doctor examined me, then the second gynecologist, finally I was taken to an ultrasound, where I heard that the tumor was gone . It was a very happy time for me, although I have to admit I was hoping to hear such a diagnosis.
What helped me? I don't know one hundred percent. Maybe all the elements contributed a bit to the end result. Maybe also my faith, it is possible. I believe that not everything can be explained scientifically. It is worth trusting the wisdom of nature, leaving space for a secret or even a miracle. Please listen to your inner voice, your intuition , this is a very good counselor.
Also, I would like to point out that if anyone has a problem, it is worth talking about, do not close in your sadness because maybe someone you share this problem with will be able to help you. It was my case. I discovered my friend's herbal bath when at the last moment I decided to talk about what was difficult for me.
I was once convinced that sad things were better not to tell others, as it somehow weighs them down, destroys their sense of well-being. I went beyond my way of thinking and gained valuable knowledge. I am very grateful to my friend for information on swimming.
I have to admit I usually took a quick shower and it was a waste of time lounging in the tub. I liked these herbal baths so much that I still use them, not that often, but weekends are bath time for me!
I thought it was worth sharing this experience as it can help someone regain health and avoid surgery .
In retrospect, I can say that what I initially thought was punishment and injustice was eventually accepted as some kind of good . "The tough times in life are always our best friends." R. Rohr.
The three-month period of waiting for surgery was a period of extraordinary insight for me . I listened to myself carefully, I had time for very deep thoughts and reflections.
It is worth looking at things from different angles, because then different ideas and solutions may come to mind.
I also learned that I have dedicated friends who I can count on during any illness. I thank them very much.
I believe that everything in life is for something . It is worth learning and drawing conclusions from what is happening to us.
I wish you good humor and good health.

7 possible causes for longer menses
Here are seven possible causes for longer periods and when you need to worry.
1. Hormonal change
One of the main causes of long periods is due to hormones. Menstruation will occur when you are not pregnant, estrogen and progestin levels are reduced, and prostaglandin levels are increased. The condition instructs the uterus to release diapers designed for a potential pregnancy.
But if the hormonal balance is disturbed, menstruation will be longer. This is generally not something to worry about.
Sometimes long periods are accompanied by discomfort and excessive bleeding. It's not very worrying either, but consult your real doctor if you have any questions.
2. Changes in the thyroid gland
According to the Society for Endocrinology, the thyroid is a small gland in the front of your neck that secretes hormones for the body's metabolism, including menstruation. Thyroid changes can be caused by iodine deficiency or autoimmune disorders such as Hashimoto's thyroiditis.
A third of women in their late thirties experience changes in the thyroid gland, which can lead to longer periods. This is not something to worry about, but you should consult an obstetrician.
3. Uterine or endometrial polyps
Polyps are abnormal growths of tissue that can occur in any organ, including the uterus. When there are polyps in the uterus, women may experience spots before and after menstruation, which could lengthen menstruation. Spots can also appear between periods.
Polyps are usually mild, but some can be cancerous. So you should always check it.
4. Changes in the contraceptive method
Birth control pills can affect the frequency, duration, and flow of menstruation, according to Everyday Health. Changing the contraceptive method can affect your period every month, but that's part of the adjustment, so it's normal. The adjustment usually takes three menstrual periods.
5. Sexually transmitted infections
Unusual and painful menstruation or spots between menstruations can be a symptom of a sexually transmitted infection, according to the American University.
Prolonged menstrual blood can be a sign of infectious diseases such as gonorrhea or chlamydia. According to the Mayo Clinic page, gonorrhea can cause bleeding between periods, painful urination, or pelvic pain.
Although chlamydia may include these symptoms as well as unusual vaginal discharge, it may also have no symptoms. Both of these infections can be treated, especially if detected early.
6. Miscarriage
Late and severe menstruation can be due to miscarriage, according to the Mayo Clinic page. Miscarriages occur in about 20 percent of people who know they are pregnant and occur more often in people who do not know they are pregnant. If time depends on your period, it may not be a miscarriage.
7. Ovarian cysts
Ovarian cysts often occur and can cause long, irregular menstrual bleeding, according to the Center of Menstrual Disorders and Reproductive Choice. However, you do not need to panic. Most cysts are mild and rarely cancerous, only if they are large can interfere with your menstrual blood flow.
The partial cyst goes away on its own, but you should see a doctor to make sure your cyst is benign. If there is more than one cyst, you may have polycistic ovary syndrome (PCOS). According to the Mayo Clinic, disruption of the endocrine system can lead to heavier and irregular periods. PCOS can cause infertility, so it must be treated early.
CAUSES OF UTERINE POLYPS
Endometrial polyps are benign formations on the uterine lining. A similar disease occurs in women of different ages, but most often after 35 years of age. The causes of the appearance of such formations are not known in a reliable way, but the following are linked to risk factors:
-hormonal imbalance
-mechanical damage and trauma to the uterine cavity
-abortions, miscarriages, difficult childbirth
-endocrine problems, including diabetes
-hypertension and obesity
SYMPTOMS OF ENDOMETRIC POLYPS
Characteristic signs of the disease include uterine bleeding, prolonged and heavy periods. Other symptoms of endometrial polyps are:
-flowing blood after having sex
-purulent discharge or other
-discomfort in the lower abdomen
-discomfort during intercourse
-weakness and paleness of the skin due to blood loss
In some cases, polyps do not manifest themselves at all and are only detected during examinations by a gynecologist, which confirms the need for regular visits.
DIAGNOSTICS
To start treatment of the endometrial polyp, the diagnosis should be confirmed, since similar symptoms occur with other female diseases - myoma, endometriosis, threats of miscarriage, etc.
The diagnosis usually comes down to ultrasound (ultrasound), which allows you to visualize the uterine cavity and determine the presence of formations. In some cases, a hysteroscopy is performed, which also allows you to remove polyp tissue for examination.
TREATMENT OF ENDOMETER POLYPS
In some cases, progestin drug therapy may be effective (small mucous polyps)
Routine treatment is surgical excision by operative hysteroscopy.
In cases where it appears at a young age, ablation is carried out with all the measures necessary to maintain fertility.
In women at risk of early-stage cancer polyp (postmenopausal woman) or in women over 45 years of age (to prevent recurrence), it is necessary to remove the entire uterine lining, which is also performed by hysteroscopy or decide to remove the entire uterus - hysterectomy.
All extract extracts during hysteroscopy are analysed under a microscope to determine with precision the nature of the polyp.

VAGINAL MYCOSIS TREATMENT WITH PLANTS
The yeast infection is an infection due to the proliferation of fungi, usually Candida albicans. It is most often transmitted after sex, but not only. Tea tree oil c ' is an antifungal powerful, natural and effective. It is therefore very useful as a home remedy for vaginal yeast infection.
Indeed, the active substances of plants are more powerful when they are concentrated in essential oils. By herbal medicine or precisely aromatherapy, we have been able to prove that they have an antifungal or anti vaginal mycosis effect, that is to say, they help to fight effectively against the proliferation of candidas albicans.
The tea tree :
Still called the tea tree, it is particularly powerful, because it also destroys candida glabella, the agent of the less frequent mycoses, but at the origin of recurrent vulvovaginal mycosis and difficult to treat. The presence of a component, terpinene-4-ol makes this possible.
Garlic:
The incredible properties of garlic have been known for centuries. It is an excellent ally in the treatment of vaginal yeast infection. And more generally to keep you in good health and prevent vaginal infections from returning.
If the infection is detected in time, it is possible to treat a vaginal yeast infection with raw garlic as well.
In fact, the warning signs of the disease are itching in the genitals. The following days, they increase and become unbearable. At this level, we can still remedy it by resorting to raw garlic, otherwise, once the vaginal discharge becomes smelly and abundant, it is too late, because the infection is well and truly installed.
At the first signs, take a clove of garlic, remove the film that surrounds it, cover it with a compress and use it at night as a vaginal suppository.
Olive leaf extract
Olive leaf extract has many properties that help treat vaginal yeast infection. It is also an excellent product to restore a good balance of the immune system.
In fact, olive leaves from a variety of olive tree species allow obtaining the full potential of medicinally active substances. In addition, the level of oleuropein is high, up to 18%. This active ingredient is a powerful antioxidant that can exceed up to 400 times the antioxidant activity of vitamin C.
It, therefore, acts favorably on the bacterial flora and on the immune system by fighting against the germs responsible for respiratory and intestinal infections in the human body.
It can also suppress free radicals and harmful toxins. Thus, harmful microorganisms such as Candida albicans may not resist the complex structure of the olive leaf extract. The latter acts in the amino acid processes of cells carrying viruses, preventing them from proliferating.
Origanum vulgare ;
It is another plant whose oil also helps to treat vaginal yeast infection. There are also antifungal effects and also a very positive effect on the entire immune system.
This is a fairly powerful oil and should be used with care. Thus, in contact with the skin or fingers, you risk burning yourself. Do not swallow it either; a few drops are enough to give you unbearable pain in the liver. The two primary components of oregano oil, carvacrol and thymol, are very powerful actives.
Its use is therefore subject to very strict regulations. Indeed, a dose error can be fatal. There are then contraindications governing its oral and cutaneous use.
Cranberry or cranberry:
Cranberries contain antibacterial and fungicidal substances which will help fight the development of the fungus. Cranberries can also be used in the treatment of urinary tract infections.
Apart from drug treatments, cranberry juice is also found to be effective in treating recalcitrant genital yeast infection.
Cranberries are the fruit of a shrub that thrives in acid bogs. It produces red berries that can be extracted into a tangy and tart juice, unlike other fruit juices and nectars. Like red wine, it contains a certain level of tannins including antioxidant components.
Its benefits on the body allow, among other things, to prevent and fight against infections of the urinary system. Its regular consumption helps prevent infections caused by helicobacter pylori, the cause of many stomach ailments, including chronic gastritis and gastric and duodenal ulcers.
Beyond its favorable effects on the health of teeth, cardiovascular disease, cancer and Alzheimer's disease, its antioxidant capacity is superior to that of other fruits such as apple, red grape, strawberry, peach and grapefruit.
NABOTH'S CYST AFTER CHILDBIRTH: Natural treatment
A cyst: what is it?
The cyst is a kind of closed pocket, containing liquid, a semi-solid substance or even gas. It can appear at any age in life, in any area of the body. Depending on their location, we can distinguish hundreds of different types of cysts. The majority of them are benign and only cause a problem when they are too large. The appearance of a cyst can have many possible causes: infection, birth defect, shock, tumor (benign or cancerous), etc. For example, sebaceous cysts, which form in the sebaceous glands of the skin, are due to an abnormal accumulation of sebum. The popliteal cyst, which forms in the fold of the knee, is caused by arthritis or trauma to the knee. Dawasanté experts provide you with a natural treatment based on medicinal plants to cure Naboth cysts permanently. Click on the image below to discover this natural treatment .
What are the symptoms?
When cysts form under the skin, they are easily detectable: they form a more or less large ball under the skin, most often painless. On the other hand, cysts located deeper in the body are often asymptomatic. However, the largest of them put pressure on neighboring organs, triggering pain, and various disorders depending on the location (eg: blood in the urine for the renal cyst).
Focus on the main female cysts
In women, the breast cyst is common: the lump is solid, its contours are well defined. It may change in size during the period of the menstrual cycle or disappear/reappear spontaneously from one menstrual cycle to another. This type of breast cyst is harmless: it does not increase the risk of breast cancer.
Another common cyst is the Bartholin gland cyst, which manifests as a sharp pain or lump at the entrance to the vagina. It is due to mild infection of the Bartholin glands and is not a health hazard. Many women are affected at least once in their life.
As for ovarian cysts, there are different types. Most often asymptomatic, they can sometimes cause abdominal pain or irregular cycles. In 9 out of 10 cases, these are functional cysts that are not serious: they appear during a menstrual cycle and then disappear on their own after a few cycles. On the other hand, for organic ovarian cysts, there is a risk of cancerous degeneration, which is quite low before the age of 50.
Naboth's cyst, common after childbirth
Naboth's cyst is located on the wall of the cervix. It appears in many women after childbirth or sometimes also after menopause. Completely painless, it does not represent any danger to health.
Childhood congenital cyst
The thyroglossal cyst can be present from the birth of the child or appear a little later, usually before the age of 2: a large pocket full of fluid forms on his neck or face. This cyst is due to a fairly frequent embryonic malformation and not very serious. Antibiotics can reduce its size, but surgical removal is the best solution to prevent recurrence and limit the risk of superinfection.
Diagnosis of cysts
The cysts' skin is easy to diagnose but others require an ultrasound. A scanner is also often used: its purpose is to verify that it is indeed a simple cyst and not cancer. A biopsy is sometimes also requested: the contents of the cyst are normally punctured with a needle for examination.
How to treat a cyst?
A small, asymptomatic cyst with no risk of developing into cancer does not require treatment. A cyst that is annoying by its size and symptoms can, on the other hand, be drained using a needle or a catheter. Another solution: surgical removal. This last option is particularly used in the presence of cancer risk.
The cyst Bartholin's gland is manifested by a lump or pain in the vagina. Bartholin's glands produce a protective and lubricating fluid that can sometimes become infected and cause swelling or cyst formation. This cyst is harmless and can affect all women at some point in their life.
An ovarian cyst is a fluid-filled pocket that develops on the surface or inside of an ovary. Ovarian cysts are very common in women and rarely become cancerous before the age of 50.
There are several types of ovarian cysts. The functional cysts appear during the ovulation cycle (release of an egg from the ovary). Most painless, harmless, and non-cancerous, they usually go away on their own after 2 or 3 menstrual cycles.
Other types of cysts are due to benign tumors such as dermoid cysts, endometriosis cysts (or endometrioma) in women with endometriosis. The polycystic ovary syndrome is not due to cysts but the follicles on the ovaries that make up the volume.
Some benign ovarian cysts can increase the risk of ovarian cancer. Some malignant tumors and cancers of the ovaries start with a cyst in the ovaries.
A Naboth's cyst (or Naboth's egg) is a mucus-filled pocket that forms on the wall of the cervix (The cervix is lined with glands that produce mucus). This type of cyst is common in women after childbirth or in postmenopausal women whose uterine wall thins with age. This cyst has virtually no symptoms and is usually detected during a routine pelvic exam. It does not present any risk to health.
The cysts of Naboth comes from distension of endocervical glands and are usually asymptomatic. However, they can be multiple and exceed 2 cm to form cystic masses
.
On MRI, they are differentiated from cervical cancers by their T2 hyper signal, their intermediate signal in T1, and the absence of contrast enhancement. Moreover, the limit with the cervical stroma, in hyposignal, is clear.
Among the differential diagnoses, we can cite exceptional cervical endometriosis and malignant adenoma which accounts for 3% of cervical adenocarcinomas.
|
Cervical stenosis |
Cervical stenosis is common during menopause or after endo-uterine maneuvers. It most often causes an obstacle to the flow of secretions and presents as uterine distension of undetermined origin.
The role of MRI is to confirm the normality of the zonal anatomy of the cervix and uterus, to eliminate the presence of abnormal endocavitary tissue and to specify the fluid nature (serous or haematic) of the endocardial retention. uterine.
|
Cervical fibroma |
Cervical fibroma is a rare localization of uterine myomas.
Difficult to diagnose on ultrasound, it presents on MRI the same signal abnormalities as in the case of localization in the uterine body.
NABOTH CAUSE CYST: Natural treatment
NABOTH CAUSE CYST
A cyst Nabothian (or egg Naboth ) is a cyst mucous that develops at the neck of the uterus; it is due to the obliteration of the excretory ducts of the glands of the uterine cervix. This is the accumulation of mucus produced by the glands of the endocervix (columnar epithelium) which cannot be evacuated due to the physiological covering of the gland by squamous epithelium (a phenomenon of repair). These cysts are most often visible at the level of the ectocervix, presenting on colposcopy as a translucent cyst whose wall is covered with vessels. They can also sit in the endocervix and be visible on ultrasound.
Causes of Naboth's cyst
The Naboth cysts are formed:
- Either because there is a development of the tissue of the cervix (following childbirth for example).
- Either in older women, because the natural secretions are retained in the thinned tissue of the cervix.
The cause of the appearance of a Nabothian cyst is the obstruction of the ducts carrying the secretions from the mucus glands. It is a common phenomenon in a woman after childbirth, the lining of the cervix develops, or in postmenopausal women, in whom the lining of the uterus becomes thinner.
The cysts of Naboth often appear after repair ectropion: epithelium squamous metaplasia (newly formed) covers the glandular endocervical crypts, without colonizing, and locked glands continue to secrete, which is responsible for their expansion; the glands then form small cysts which protrude under the squamous epithelium.
These retentional glandular cysts are visible on the ectocervix.
Nabothian cysts form when the mucus-producing glands in your cervix become covered with skin cells and become blocked. The skin cells clog the glands, causing mucus to build up. This causes a cyst to form on the neck that looks like a small white bump.
Childbirth and physical trauma to the cervix can cause Nabothian Trusted Source cysts in some women. During childbirth, excess skin cells can grow on the mucous gland and trap the mucus, causing cysts to form. Physical trauma around the cervix can cause excess tissue on top of the mucous glands during the healing process and trap mucus, which can also cause these cysts to appear. Cysts caused by physical trauma are especially common during recovery from chronic cervicitis, in which cervical tissue is inflamed.
You are more likely to develop these cysts if you are pregnant or of childbearing age. Childbearing age lasts from puberty until the onset of menopause, which can sometimes reach 40 or 50 years.
You might also be at risk of developing similar cysts if you have a disorder called malignant adenoma. This condition is a type of neoplasia that affects the production of mucus in the cervix of your uterus. These cysts are often identical to Naboth's cysts. Talk to your doctor about screening for malignant adenoma if you are concerned that your Naboth cyst is the result of this condition rather than other causes.
In most cases, Nabothian cysts appear when new tissue grows back on the cervix after childbirth. This new tissue blocks the openings of the nabothian glands in the cervix, trapping their mucous secretion in tiny pockets under the skin. Nabothian cysts are a normal finding on the cervix of women who have had children. They are also seen in postmenopausal women whose cervical skin has thinned with age. Less often, nabothian cysts are linked to chronic cervicitis, long-term infection of the cervix.
The mucus-producing gland in the cervix is covered with cells and skin clogs. Physical trauma and childbirth cause additional skin cells to grow in the mucous gland and trap the mucus, resulting in the cyst forming.
Infection: The cervical glands produce large amounts of mucus to protect the area from all kinds of infections and inflammation. This process can be understood as the body's natural way to wash away foreign objects that can cause health problems.
As the level of mucus production increases, there will obviously be an increased risk of blockage and cyst formation. Therefore, infections and inflammation can cause the growth of Naboth cysts.
Hormonal changes: the changes hormonal play a direct role in the formation of such cysts. For example, menopause is a stage in which a woman may experience thinning of the skin of the cervix. It causes inflammation of the cervix causing cervical infection.
The cervix connects the two most important parts of the female reproductive system. Therefore, hormonal changes will have a direct effect on him.
These cysts mainly develop during pregnancy, childbirth or menopause. Therefore, the development of these cysts could be the result of changes in hormone levels.
Trauma: Injury or scarring of the tissues lining the cervix could lead to the formation of Naboth's cysts. The body tries to grow new tissue to repair and heal the injured area, but sometimes there can be an overgrowth of the tissue.
Pregnancy: Normally, the cervix remains open to allow the movement of semen from the vagina to the uterus and the flow of menstrual fluid from the uterus to the vagina.
However, during pregnancy, the body's mechanism closes the cervix to ensure the development of the fetus in the womb. New tissue grows on the mucous gland after childbirth due to the process of metaplasia.
If these tissues grow excessively, they could block the glands and prevent mucus from draining out, leading to the development of Naboth cysts.
Neck Problems: Postmenopausal women may experience thinning of the skin of the cervix. Inflammation of the cervix is a common effect of cervicitis.
These problems, along with other sexually transmitted infections of the cervix, could lead to the development of cysts on the surface of the cervix.

Symptoms
Sometimes adenomyosis does not cause any signs or symptoms or causes only mild discomfort. However, adenomyosis can cause:
-
Heavy or prolonged menstrual bleeding
-
Severe cramping or sharp, knife-like pelvic pain during menstruation (dysmenorrhea)
-
Chronic pelvic pain
The causes
The cause of adenomyosis is not known. There have been a lot of theories, including:
· Invasive tissue growth. Some experts believe that adenomyosis results from the direct invasion of endometrial cells through the lining of the uterus into the muscle that forms the walls of the uterus. Uterine incisions made during an operation such as a cesarean section could promote the direct invasion of endometrial cells into the lining of the uterus.
· Developmental origins. Other experts suspect that adenomyosis originates in the uterine muscle from endometrial tissue deposited there during the formation of the uterus in the fetus.
· Inflammation uterine is related to childbirth. Another theory suggests a link between adenomyosis and childbirth. Inflammation of the lining of the uterus during the postpartum period can cause the normal boundary of the cells that line the uterus to rupture. Surgery on the uterus can have a similar effect.
· Origin of stem cells. A recent theory suggests that stem cells from the bone marrow could invade the uterine muscle, causing adenomyosis.
Regardless of the course of adenomyosis, its growth depends on the circulation of estrogen in the female body.
Risk factors
Risk factors for adenomyosis include:
-
Previous uterine surgery, such as cesarean or fibroid removal
-
Childbirth
-
Middle Ages
Most cases of adenomyosis occur in women between the ages of 40 and 50. Adenomyosis in these women could be linked to longer exposure to estrogen compared to that in younger women. However, current research suggests that the condition might be common in younger women.
Complications
If you often have heavy and prolonged bleeding during your period, you can develop chronic anemia, which can lead to fatigue and other health problems.
While not harmful, the pain and excessive bleeding associated with adenomyosis can disrupt your lifestyle. You may be avoiding activities that you have done in the past because you are in pain or are worried about bleeding.
Diagnostic
Your doctor may suspect adenomyosis based on:
-
Signs and symptoms
-
A pelvic exam that reveals an enlarged and tender uterus
-
Ultrasound of the uterus
-
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the uterus
In some cases, your doctor may take a sample of uterine tissue (endometrial biopsy) to check that your abnormal uterine bleeding is not associated with another serious condition. But an endometrial biopsy will not help your doctor confirm the diagnosis of adenomyosis.
The only way to confirm adenomyosis is to examine the uterus after a hysterectomy. However, pelvic imaging such as ultrasound and MRI can detect signs of it.
Other uterine diseases can cause signs and symptoms similar to adenomyosis, making adenomyosis difficult to diagnose. The conditions include fibroids (leiomyomas), uterine cells growing outside the uterus (endometriosis), and growths in the lining of the womb (endometrial polyps).
Your doctor may conclude that you only have adenomyosis if you have chosen other possible causes of your signs and symptoms.
Medical treatments
Adenomyosis often goes away after menopause, so treatment may depend on how close you are to this stage of life.
Treatment options for adenomyosis include:
· Anti-inflammatory. Your doctor may recommend anti-inflammatory drugs, such as ibuprofen, to control the pain. By starting an anti-inflammatory medication one to two days before your period starts and taking it during your period, you can reduce menstrual blood flow and help relieve pain.
· Hormonal Drugs. Birth control pills that combine estrogen and progestins, patches containing hormones, or vaginal rings can reduce the heavy bleeding and pain associated with adenomyosis. Progestin-only contraception, such as an intrauterine device, or continuous-use birth control pills often lead to amenorrhea - the absence of periods - which may provide some relief.
· Hysterectomy. If your pain is severe and no other treatment has worked, your doctor may suggest surgery to remove your uterus. Removing your ovaries is not necessary to control adenomyosis.

What are Ovarian Cysts
The ovarian cysts are sacs filled with fluid that can develop in or on your ovaries. Most ovarian cysts are harmless and go away on their own. But you may need to have an operation to remove a cyst if it is causing you pain or discomfort or if there is a chance that it is cancer.
Ovarian cysts are usually removed using a surgical procedure called laparoscopy (a type of keyhole surgery), but sometimes open surgery is necessary. Your procedure will be performed by a gynecologist.

WE DELIVER ALL OVER THE WORLD
Prepare for the removal of the ovarian cyst
You will get information from your hospital on how to prepare for your operation. If you smoke, for example, you will be asked to quit. Smoking increases your risk of getting an infection after surgery, which can slow your recovery. It can also lead to complications.
Ovarian cysts are usually removed with keyhole surgery as a daily procedure. This means you can probably go home the same day, although sometimes it is necessary to stay overnight.
Before you start, ask a friend or family member to take you home after your procedure. And make sure there can be someone home with you for the first 24 hours.
The operation is performed under general anesthesia, so you will sleep during the operation. You will be prompted to follow the fasting instructions. This usually means not to eat or drink anything other than clear fluids about six hours before your surgery. You can usually drink water for up to two hours before your surgery, but not after. It is important to follow the advice given by your hospital.
You may be asked to wear compression stockings to help prevent blood clots from forming in the veins in the legs.
Your gynecologist will discuss with you what will happen before, during, and after your procedure, including any pain, you may be feeling. If you are unsure of something, don't be afraid to ask. No question is too short. It is important that you feel fully informed so that you can give your consent to the procedure. You may be asked to do so by signing a consent form.
What are the alternatives to ovarian cyst removal?
If an ovarian cyst is not causing you any symptoms, your gynecologist may simply suggest that you monitor it rather than undergo treatment. You will need to attend regular appointments for an ultrasound to check if the cyst is clearing or changing in size. If you are under 50, most ovarian cysts will go away on their own within two to three months.
What Happens During Ovarian Cyst Removal?
Removal of the ovarian cyst is usually done through keyhole surgery, but sometimes a larger cut is needed (open surgery). Your gynecologist will discuss with you the type of operation best suited to your situation.

Keyhole surgery (laparoscopy)
Simple or small cysts can usually be removed with surgery. If you are having keyhole surgery, your gynecologist will make two or three small cuts (between 5mm and 1cm long). One will be near your belly button and two will be lower, usually one on each side. They will pass small instruments and a tube-shaped telescopic camera (called a laparoscope) through the cuts. This procedure is called laparoscopy. Your gynecologist will then examine your ovaries and remove the cyst. The cuts on your skin are closed with glue or stitches.
Open surgery (laparotomy)
In some situations, your gynecologist may need to perform open surgery. This is when a smaller, larger cut is made in your lower abdomen (tummy) to reach your ovary. Your gynecologist may recommend that you have open surgery if the cyst is very large or if it is possible that it is cancerous. Or, they may need to change the laparoscopy to open the surgery during the procedure in order to safely remove your cyst. In some circumstances, it may be necessary to remove your entire ovary during the procedure.
What to expect after
After your laparoscopy, your nurse will make sure you are not in pain and let you rest for a few hours. They will offer you something to eat and drink. You can usually go later in the day when you feel ready. Someone should take you home, and a friend or family member should stay with you overnight.
Your nurse will give you advice on how to treat your injuries before you go home. They will probably want to check that you can urinate properly before you go home, and will also give you painkillers to take. You may be given a date for a follow-up appointment.
Having general anesthesia affects everyone differently. You may find that you are not as well coordinated or that it is difficult to think clearly. It should pass within 24 hours. In the meantime, don't drive, drink alcohol, operate machinery, or sign anything important. Always follow the advice given by your gynecologist or the hospital.
If your gynecologist used soluble stitches, these will go away on their own. The other stitches may need to be removed by your GP's office nurse. It will usually be around five to seven days after your operation.
Recovery from ovarian cyst removal
Your body needs time to heal after surgery. Everyone is different. You may feel tired and need to take a nap for a few days after you get home.
But it is also important for your recovery that you stand up. Try to take a few short walks (10-15 minutes) in the first few days, then increase gradually. One week after the operation, most women can walk slowly and steadily for 60 minutes. After about two weeks, they returned to their normal level of physical activity. You should avoid heavy lifting for four weeks.
You will likely be able to return to work a week after the procedure, but this may depend on the type of work you are doing. It may take a week or more. The time it takes to recover will also be affected by whether you've had keyhole or open surgery. It takes longer to recover from open surgery. If you have questions about your recovery or when you can resume particular activities, ask your gynecologist. It is important to follow their advice.
If you need pain relief, you can take over-the-counter pain relievers such as paracetamol or ibuprofen.
Side effects of ovarian cyst removal
After your surgery, you may have side effects. These should be mostly temporary and can include:
-Pain or discomfort in the lower abdomen for a few days after your operation;
-Pain in the shoulders;
-A small amount of vaginal bleeding for up to 48 hours;
-Feeling more tired than usual for a few days
Complications of ovarian cyst removal
Complications arise when more serious and unexpected problems occur during or after your procedure.
Most women recover well after the removal of the ovarian cyst. Keyhole surgery causes fewer complications and has a shorter recovery time than open surgery.
Possible complications from any type of surgery include bleeding or a blood clot, usually in a vein in the leg (deep vein thrombosis - DVT). You could also develop an infection.
Removing the cyst from the ovary can damage other organs, such as the bowel, ureters or bladder, but this is unusual.
Your ovaries produce important hormones and eggs, which can be fertilized. Your gynecologist will try to preserve your ovaries so that your hormones are not affected and you can still have children, but this may not always be possible. Before your procedure, your gynecologist should discuss with you the risk of losing an ovary during the operation.
If you have any of the following symptoms, you should contact the hospital where you had your operation:
-Stomach pain that gets worse
-A high temperature, especially if you have also lost your appetite or are ill;
-Red or sore skin around your scars;
-Burning or tingling sensation when you urinate more often, or that you cannot do so at all;
-Pain, swelling, redness, or a feeling of heat on the legs.

OVARIAN CYST AND PREGNANCY NATURAL TREATMENT
Ovarian cysts are sacs or pockets filled with fluid in an ovary or on its surface. Women have two ovaries; Each is the size and shape of an almond and is located on the side of the uterus. The ova (eggs), produced and ripe in the ovaries, are released in monthly cycles during fertile years.
Many women have ovarian cysts at some point. Most ovarian cysts do not present with much discomfort (or very little) and are not harmful. Most go away without treatment within a few months.
However, ovarian cysts (especially those that have ruptured) can cause severe symptoms. To protect your health, perform regular pelvic exams and familiarize yourself with symptoms that may indicate a problem that may be serious.

Symptoms that indicate an ovarian cyst
Most cysts don't cause any symptoms and go away on their own. However, a large ovarian cyst can cause:
-Pelvic pain: dull or severe pain in the lower abdomen on the side of the cyst;
-Feeling of fullness or heaviness in the abdomen;
-Swelling
The causes of ovarian cysts
Corpus luteum cyst
Most ovarian cysts occur after the menstrual cycle (functional cysts). Other types of cysts are much less common.
Functional cysts
Structures similar to cysts, called "follicles," usually develop every month. The follicles produce the hormones estrogen and progesterone and release an egg when you ovulate.
If a normal follicle continues to grow, it is called a “functional cyst”. There are two types of functional cysts:
· Follicular cyst Approximately in the middle of the menstrual cycle, an egg leaves its follicle and passes through the fallopian tube. A follicular cyst begins when the follicle does not break or release the egg, but continues to grow.
- Corpus luteum cyst. When a follicle releases the egg, it begins to produce estrogen and progesterone for conception. The follicle is now called the "corpus luteum". Sometimes fluid collects inside the follicle, which causes the corpus luteum to expand and a cyst to form.
Functional cysts are usually harmless, rarely cause pain, and usually go away on their own within two or three menstrual cycles.
Other cysts
Types of cysts that are not related to the normal functioning of the menstrual cycle are:
· Cyst dermoid. These cysts, also called "teratomas", can contain tissue, such as hair, skin or teeth, because they are formed from embryonic cells. They are usually not cancerous.
· Cystadenomas These form on the surface of an ovary and may be filled with a watery or mucous material.
· Endometriomas They are formed as a result of a disease in which uterine endometrial cells develop outside the uterus (endometriosis). Some tissue can adhere to the ovary and form a lump.
Dermoid cysts and cystadenomas may be enlarged, which can cause the ovary to move out of its position. This increases the possibility of a painful torsion of the ovary, called "ovarian torsion". Ovarian torsion can also cause blood flow to the ovary to decrease or stop. In fact, ovulation is the release of an egg from one of the ovaries. It usually occurs in the middle of the menstrual cycle, although the exact time may vary.
In preparation for ovulation, the uterine lining, or endometrium, thickens. The pituitary gland in the brain stimulates one of the ovaries to release an egg. The wall of the ovarian follicle breaks on the surface of the ovary. The egg is released.
Elongated structures called "fimbriae" carry the egg to the nearby fallopian tube. The egg travels through the fallopian tube, driven in part by contractions of the walls of the tube. Once in the fallopian tube, the egg can be fertilized by a sperm.
If the egg is fertilized, the egg and sperm join together and form a single-celled entity called a zygote. When the zygote moves down the fallopian tube into the uterus, it begins to divide rapidly and forms a group of cells called blastocysts, which looks like a small raspberry. When the zygote reaches the uterus, it is implanted in the uterine lining and pregnancy begins.
If the egg is not fertilized, the body simply reabsorbs it, perhaps even before reaching the uterus. About two weeks later, the lining of the uterus breaks off and is expelled through the vagina. This is called menstruation.
Risk factors
The risk of having an ovarian cyst increases due to:
· Hormonal problems: These include taking clomiphene (Clomid), a fertility medicine used to stimulate ovulation.
· Pregnancy: Sometimes the cyst that forms when you ovulate stays in the ovary throughout the pregnancy.
· Endometriosis: This condition causes uterine endometrial cells to grow outside the uterus. Some tissue can adhere to the ovary and form a lump.
· A severe pelvic infection: If the infection spreads to the ovaries, it can cause cysts to form.
· A previous ovarian cyst: If you have a cyst, you probably have more.
I have cysts and I'm pregnant… Is it time to panic?
Ovarian cysts are common in early pregnancy, even if you are not having your period. Usually, these cysts are harmless, just like most other ovarian cysts.
· However, if the cysts continue to grow throughout your pregnancy, there are a few possible problems. They can break, twist, or even cause problems during childbirth. This is one of the many reasons why it is important to stay under the care of an obstetrician/gynecologist during your pregnancy and throughout your life.
- If you have polycystic ovary syndrome you are at increased risk for gestational diabetes, pregnancy-induced high blood pressure, miscarriage or premature delivery.
· Talk to your OB / GYN about your risks and potential treatment options. She will provide you with a full set of options and recommend the best treatment to help you have the healthiest pregnancy possible.
Ovarian cysts: what consequences before pregnancy?
- Most of the time, having one or even more ovarian cysts does not prevent you from getting pregnant. Functional cysts do not really interfere with fertility (many women get pregnant naturally without even suspecting their presence) or only temporarily, while they resolve. For example, a follicular cyst can prevent ovulation during one cycle, but may not interfere with ovulation in the next cycle. In addition, if these cysts are slow to leave, hormonal treatment can accelerate their disappearance and return to a normal menstrual cycle with good ovulation.
- As for endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome, they can have a very small or greater impact on fertility depending on the severity of the disease: if necessary, treatment can be implemented to facilitate pregnancy. In general, large endometrial cysts are removed surgically while hormonal stimulation often helps to ovulate normally in polycystic ovary syndrome. Many women thus manage to become pregnant and carry on their pregnancy after these treatments.
Ovarian cysts: what consequences during pregnancy?
- It happens that an ovarian cyst is discovered accidentally, during a mandatory ultrasound during pregnancy. A small asymptomatic cyst often only requires simple monitoring, to make sure that it does not grow too large: normally, it will not interfere with the development of your future baby, or even your delivery.
- In the end, it is especially the cysts causing severe pain that must be removed surgically. The same can be said for very large ovarian cysts, which are often removed as a preventive measure (without treatment, a large cyst could trigger ovarian torsion). If this type of cyst is discovered during the very first months of your pregnancy, the operation will normally be postponed until the beginning of the second trimester: at this stage, it will no longer present any particular risks for your baby. In the meantime, the doctor may give you a rest.
