Definition

A cervical polyp is formed as a result of epithelial tissue in the cervix. Under the microscope, it appears an enlarged thyroid duct of glandular epithelial cells surrounded by connective tissue and blood vessels. According to the fact that fibrous tissue and glandular tissue predominate in their construction, we can talk about two types of polyps: fibrous and adenomatous. Polyps can have a rod or a flat shape.

The disease occurs most often in women between the ages of 30 and 50. Polyps are often benign. Sometimes, however, cancer can develop from these tumors. Most often this happens in women during menopause.

The cause of polyps on the cervix is not known. However, it has been established that the development of this disease is influenced by an abnormal hormonal level, namely an excess of estradiol and too little progesterone.

Symptoms

When a polyp appears in the cervix, the woman has not had symptoms for a long time. However, as the tumors grow, such signs appear:

  • pain in the lower abdomen;
  • longer and more painful menstrual bleeding;
  • bleeding after intercourse;
  • bleeding between periods;
  • inability to get pregnant.

Natural treatment

Treatment of cervical polyp can be carried out using traditional drugs. Several types of herbal preparations will be able to harmonize the level of different hormones so that the female body automatically dries up the polyp in the region of the cervix. You should also strengthen the muscles of the uterus to prevent possible bleeding and to make periods less heavy. However, keep in mind that all herbal preparations should be taken strictly in the indicated doses since the treatment is a very responsible and serious process. The difference between a remedy and a poison is the dose.

Healing pads

Several types of tampons are actively used for the treatment of cervical polyps. We will bring you some of the most effective recipes.

  1. Mix equal amounts of honey and aloe, apply to gauze and insert into vagina overnight.
  2. Crush the garlic, mix it with olive oil, apply it on a gauze pad and insert deeper into the vagina. Continue treatment until the polyp is completely resorbed on the cervix. Don't be afraid of burns or an unpleasant smell. Garlic does not irritate the vagina, and the discharge from the uterus will quickly eliminate the smell after removing the garlic swab.
  3. Mix the propolis with hot water in a solid-state. Apply the mixture to a tampon and insert it into the vagina.
  4. Onion swabs help polyps in the cervix. Scrape the vegetables, mix with honey, moisten a tampon with this mixture and put it in the vagina overnight. Repeat the treatment every night for 10 days. In the case of very large polyps on the cervix, you need to take several treatments.
  5. Bay leaves are very helpful for the health of the uterus. You can just take 3 grams of the substance every day in the morning, but it is better to make tampons from bay leaves. Dissolve the drug with warm water in a viscous state, apply it on a gauze pad and enter the vagina. Repeat operation 10-20 and the uterine polyp will not be left behind.
  6. Squeeze the juice from the ripened viburnum fruits, mix it with honey (in equal proportions), soak a tampon with this liquid, and insert into the vagina. Viburnum juice contains active substances that help to absorb polyps in the cervix. Continue treatment until all unpleasant symptoms disappear.

Mushrooms

Why magic mushrooms turn dark blue when picked : Research Highlights

The fungi shrink the muscles of the uterus and therefore help stop bleeding from polyps (for example, after sex).

We recommend this treatment: take 1 tablespoon of dried mushrooms and pour 1 liter of boiling water, wait 1 hour, then filter. You should drink the infusion throughout the day in small portions instead of the usual tea. To enhance the taste, you can add honey. After 1-2 months of regular use of this drug, you will notice a significant decrease in polyps of the cervix.

You can also make sea pepper tampons.  To do this, you will need to boil 1 teaspoon of herbs in half a cup of high-quality cooked fat for 2 minutes. Cool the mixture, spread it with a nylon cloth, mix with cornmeal and form pads. Keep them in the freezer. At night, insert tampons into the vagina. Continue the treatment every night until the polyp disappears from the cervix.
